The first Iberian American platform for wideband multimedia services by satellite operates on AMAZONAS based on the DVB-RCS international technical standard. This platform is ideal for corporate applications and to attend the demand for Internet access in regions that are lacking in telecommunications infrastructure. The platform provides High Speed Internet access with bi-directional data, voice and video transmission in Brazil and the rest of the American continent through a secure connection. This platform, with transmission speeds of up to 2 Mbps on the return link and up to 6 Mbps for downloading, provides support to practically all IP applications, including Web Browsing, E-mail, VoIP, Videoconferencing, File Transfers, Content Distribution, and more.
